Do you love video games? Are you looking for a full or part-time opportunity working in the video game industry?
Alpine Access is hiring home-based technical support positions for a major video game hardware and software manufacturer. You’ll work from the comfort of your own home office, helping fellow gamers resolve technical issues over the phone.

General Qualifications
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Experience with video games and video game systems
- Ability to establish a rapport and empathize with video game players
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve customer challenges
- Computer literate and proficient at navigating through multiple screens
- Excellent listening skills and attention to detail with ability to quickly organize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to diffuse conflict in a professional and courteous manner
- Self-sufficient and dependable
Technical Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Intermediate level of skill with Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Intermediate level of level of skills with home networking, as related to file sharing, router set-up, IP addresses, etc.
Home Office Requirements
- Computer ‘hard-wired’ to modem or router, no wireless connections
- Corded telephone headset with noise-canceling microphone that plugs into a corded land-line telephone for production calls. Mute button and volume control required either on headset or phone.
- High Speed Internet: DSL or Cable (no wireless or satellite ISPs)
- Analog landline phone line (no digital or VoIP)
Computer Requirements
- Windows XP, Windows Vista Basic, Windows Vista Premium/Business/Ultimate, and Windows 7
- Current anti-virus software with updated definitions
- Current anti-spyware software
- Firewall installed & operating or windows firewall turned on
- 8 GB of free hard drive disk space
Compensation
- Training hours will be paid at your state's minimum wage.
- Production hours will be paid at $9.00 per hour
- Full and Part-Time shifts available
